Two summers of training, a hundred hours of observation, and a great deal of coffee.
Fatima, Grace and Tobi have finished the AMI diploma, which takes two summers of full-time training and a hundred supervised hours in a classroom on top of the teaching they already do.
That brings us to sixteen diploma-holding adults out of a teaching team of twenty-four. The school pays the course fees and covers the classroom while they are away, which is the only reason it is possible at all.
