Collected, cleaned, repaired in the atelier, and delivered to two community libraries.
The drive started in 2019 with a cardboard box by the gate. This month it passed twelve hundred books.
What makes it work is the repair table. Donated books arrive in poor condition and most schools throw those away; here they go to the atelier, where children re-glue spines, tape hinges and rub out pencil. A book that would have been binned goes on a shelf instead.
This year's delivery went to two community libraries, and Primary 5 went with the van.
